Parkway Central standout wide receiver Brandon Sheperd has given a verbal commitment to attend Oklahoma State University.
The 6’2″ 190-pound Sheperd is one of the top wide receivers in the state of Missouri. He chose the Cowboys over the University of Missouri.
As a senior, Sheperd had 47 receptions for 818 yards and 21 touchdowns. He scored 15 receiving touchdowns and added six more rushing touchdowns in leading the Colts to a 10-2 record and a berth in the Class 5 state quarterfinals.
Oklahoma State won the Big XII Conference championship this season with its dynamic passing attack. The Cowboys will play Standord in the Fiesta Bowl. Sheperd was in attendance at Oklahoma State’s 44-10 victory over in-state rival Oklahoma on the last day of the regular season.
