The Ladue Rams have been one of the area’s most consistent winning programs in recent years.
Ladue is off to another impressive start with a 3-0 record after big victories over MICDS, Vianney and Riverview Gardens. The Rams’ potent offense is averaging 45 points in those three games.
Ladue’s marquee player is senior defensive back Evan Via, a four-star recruit who has already committed to Stanford. Senior quarterback Emmett McIntosh directs the offense. He has thrown eight touchdown passes with only one interception.
McIntosh’s targets include receivers Trevor Walker and Trirease Edwards, who have combined to score five touchdowns. Running backs Kody Anderson and Marco Tipton have also scored a combined five touchdowns.
Ladue will host Fox on Friday night at 7 p.m.
Napheesa Collier brings home gold
Congratulations to St. Louisan Napheesa Collier on winning another gold medal as a member of the USA Women’s Senior National Basketball Team.
Team USA defeated France 97-79 last Sunday to win the gold medal at the FIBA World Cup in Berlin. Collier, a former Incarnate Word Academy All-American, had six points and seven rebounds in the championship game.
The 6-foot-1 Collier had her best game of the tournament in the quarterfinals, when she posted 19 points and seven rebounds in a 108-56 victory over Hungary. She was named Player of the Game. It was her third gold medal as a member of the USA Senior team. She previously won Olympic gold medals in 2020 and 2024. This was her first gold medal at the FIBA World Cup.
Sebastian Bolden commits to Lindenwood
Clayton High basketball standout Sebastian Bolden has committed to Lindenwood University. A 6-foot-4 senior guard, Bolden is one of the top returning players in Missouri. Last season, he led the Greyhounds to a second-place finish in the Class 4 state tournament. It was Clayton’s first appearance in the Final Four in 51 years. As a junior, Bolden averaged 25.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists while making 94 3-pointers.

Daylon Austin-Harvey (CBC): The junior quarterback rushed for 246 yards and four touchdowns and passed for 207 yards and three touchdowns in the Cadets’ 59-48 victory over De Smet.
Arness Webb (CBC): The senior wide receiver had four receptions for 138 yards and two touchdowns in the Cadets’ 59-48 victory over De Smet.
Kolden Richards (Marquette): The senior quarterback completed 16 of 26 passes for 326 yards and four touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 42-0 victory over Ritenour.
Breyon Shines (Pattonville): The junior defensive back had two interceptions in the Pirates’ 26-21 victory over Lafayette.
Teddy Stephens (University City): The junior quarterback completed 15 of 28 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns in the Lions’ 18-12 victory over Northwest Cedar Hill.
Noah Menneke (MICDS): The senior quarterback completed nine of 13 passes for 270 yards and five touchdowns in the Rams’ 64-16 victory over Lutheran South.
Dominique Bolden (University City): The senior wide receiver had six receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ 18-12 victory over Northwest Cedar Hill.
Robert Eatherton (Vianney): The senior running back rushed for 189 yards on 12 carries and three touchdowns in the Golden Griffins’ 78-6 victory over Lutheran-St. Charles.
Ronnie Gomiller (East St. Louis): The senior rushed for 185 yards on 15 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Flyers’ 64-6 victory over O’Fallon.
Dawon Moore (MICDS): The senior wide receiver had four receptions for 108 yards and three touchdowns in the Rams’ 64-16 victory over Lutheran South.
