Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star guard Jalen Williams was taken off the floor on a stretcher after suffering a serious lower left leg injury during Sunday night’s 108–101 win over the LA Clippers.

The team did not provide an immediate diagnosis. Thunder coach Mark Daigneault told ESPN.com that the staff expects to receive an update on Williams’ condition Monday morning. “We’re not doing great,” Daigneault said, according to the outlet.

Williams was hurt with 1:14 left in the fourth quarter after being fouled on a drive. He landed awkwardly, and his leg gave out beneath him — his left foot bending sharply to the side.

Medical staff placed him on a stretcher and wheeled him off the court to a standing ovation. Williams gave the crowd two thumbs-up as he exited. The game paused for about five minutes before play resumed.

Williams entered the night averaging 18 points across his first 250 NBA games. The shooting guard is already an All-Star and All-NBA selection and played a major role in the Thunder’s 2025 championship run. He missed 49 games last season due to multiple injuries, including hamstring issues and recovery from surgery on his right wrist.
