Families in the St. Charles area have a new option for walk-in medical visits with the new convenient care at Mercy Kids Mid Rivers, 4525 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., in Cottleville, Missouri.
Mercy Kids Convenient Care opened January 5. It offers walk-in treatment without an appointment for the same cost as a doctor’s office co-pay. A pediatric nurse practitioner will see patients up to age 21. For patients who have Mercy Kids doctors, all visits will be tracked in the electronic medical record and viewable by the patient’s physician.
The new service is a good option for treatment of minor injuries and illnesses such as coughs and colds, sinus infections, sore throat, rashes, pink eye, upset stomach and urinary tract infections when a primary care physician isn’t available.
Hours are 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday; Noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
